Do you want to work in a strategically important operation where security, IT, and critical infrastructure meet? Karlshamn Port is now looking for a Coordinator for Port Authority and Security, a key role responsible for port authority enforcement, physical security, as well as information and cyber security. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of one of Sweden's largest ports and be an important part of the port's continued modernization and security work.

About the role

As Coordinator for Port Authority and Security, you play a central role in coordinating, developing, and monitoring the port's security work. The role involves close collaboration with authorities, external security actors, and internal functions, where you contribute to ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with current legislation, regulations, and internal processes. You work both strategically and operationally with issues within physical security, information security, cyber security, crisis management, and business continuity planning. The role also involves acting as support to the Head of Port Authority & Security and, if necessary, serving as a deputy.

This is a role for you who thrives with responsibility, coordination, and development work in an operation with high demands on structure, security, and quality.

Examples of tasks

• Coordinate and prepare materials for authority decisions, supervision, and follow-up
• Ensure that documentation within port authority enforcement and security work is updated and correct
• Support and follow up on work related to security protection, ISPS, and port security plans (PFSP)
• Document, report, and follow up on incidents, deviations, and measures
• Plan and coordinate inspections, exercises, and security-related activities
• Contribute to the development of routines, risk analyses, and governing documents within information and cyber security
• Work with crisis management, continuity, and emergency planning
• Contribute to the development of internal security and security-related processes

About you

We are looking for you who are structured, analytical, and responsible, with the ability to drive issues forward in a methodical and solution-oriented manner. You thrive in a role where collaboration, coordination, and follow-up are central parts of the work. You have good communication skills and express yourself professionally in both Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. Furthermore, you have an interest in security issues and an understanding of how modern security operations are linked with IT and digital development.

We would like you to have:

• Relevant education or equivalent experience within security, IT, technology, shipping, or civil protection
• Good understanding of information and cyber security
• Experience of working within security or authority-related operations is meritorious
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Category B driver's license and Swedish citizenship (requirement)
