Do you want to make a real difference in a child's life? – We are looking for foster families.

There are children and young people who, for various reasons, cannot continue living in their current home environment. Children who need more stable adults in their lives and a functional daily routine. All children have the right to security, belonging, and someone who sees them every day.

FAMN is now seeking warm, stable, and dedicated foster families who wish to open their homes and daily lives to a child in need of a new chance.

Being a foster family means that you:

• Provide security, presence, and care in everyday life
• Are there as a stable adult over time
• Support the child in school, leisure activities, and social development
• Collaborate with the professionals and agencies involved in the child's care

Placements are arranged by the municipality, and FAMN can serve as a support in the process, recommending candidates to the municipality based on the child's needs and your family's circumstances.

We offer:

• Thorough assessment (by the home municipality) and preparation for the assignment
• Ongoing guidance throughout the placement
• Close collaboration with FAMN and other professionals around the child
• Compensation according to current guidelines

Becoming a foster family is not always easy – but it can be decisive. For a child, it can mean the difference between insecurity and a place to finally land.
