ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting an interim Payroll Specialist for our client in the education sector to provide support during a specific period. The payroll function is in an expansion phase, creating a need for a reliable and operational resource. You will join a payroll team consisting of approximately two people.

In this role, you will work broadly with payroll administration for one or more companies. You will be responsible for the entire payroll process – from start to finish – while simultaneously relieving the Payroll Manager and team during an intensive period. The work is carried out in an established payroll system and primarily covers white-collar workers and teachers, including hourly employees.

You will become part of a team where routines and checklists are in place, but where daily operations require independence, initiative, and confidence in decision-making. A non-hierarchical approach and a willingness to support where the need is greatest are highly valued here.

The assignment starts in June and initially runs through the summer and early autumn (approx. 4–5 months), with the possibility of extension. There is some flexibility regarding vacation, but it is important that you can work during the end of July and the first two weeks of August. The location is central Stockholm with the possibility of hybrid work.

YOUR PROFILE

You have several years of experience in payroll work and are accustomed to quickly adapting to new organizations and ways of working. You work independently, have a good understanding of systems, and feel confident in your competence – even in situations where not everything is perfectly in place.

You have extensive experience working in payroll systems, with experience in Flex HRM being a requirement. You can work efficiently with limited introduction and preferably have experience from larger or complex organizations as well as handling different types of employment.

As a person, you are solution-oriented, responsible, and flexible. You thrive in a dynamic environment where you can contribute both operationally and as a support to the team.
