We are looking for someone with a unique combination of intellectual sharpness and physical finesse. Being "nice" is not enough here – you need to be professional, analytical, and have a natural eye for detail.

About the role:

The client is a 35-year-old woman living in Sundbyberg. She is high-achieving, social, and deeply empathetic, but lives with a complex medical condition. She is bedbound due to severe H-EDS (extremely fragile connective tissue and joints) and also lives with complex PTSD and ADHD. An assistance dog is also present in the home, currently in training/on duty.

Since the client is very considerate of others and dislikes criticizing or correcting her staff, a great deal of responsibility rests on you. You must have your own internal compass for quality and be able to read subtle nuances in communication.

Your two main responsibilities:

1. Surgical precision in movement.

Since even the slightest wrong move can cause joint injuries or severe pain, we require an assistant who is extremely steady but "light on their hands". You must be able to follow complex multi-step instructions without guessing or improvising. You understand that "your way" never replaces the user's specific instructions.

2. A calm voice during anxiety.

During severe anxiety, the user may enter a state where she cannot communicate. Your job is then to be an anchor in reality by speaking calmly and continuously about positive topics you are passionate about. You need to be able to share your personality without demanding a response or validation in return.

About you:

We are looking for a person who thrives in an environment where communication is the most important tool.

You can think ahead, plan, and see what needs to be done without constantly being told.

You speak fluent Swedish, Finnish, or English. You are comfortable holding monologues and have a positive outlook on life.

You should be ego-free but meticulous.

You do not take anxiety attacks personally, and you understand that your role is to be the user's extended arms, guided by her will.

You respect the dog's role in the home and follow instructions on how to behave around an assistance dog.
