Do you want to work closely with the business and use data, analysis, and financial management to create real operational value? Nordic Water Products AB, part of Sulzer, is now looking for a data-driven and business-oriented Business Controller with a strong analytical and technical interest.

About the role

The role is business-oriented and focuses on analysis, follow-up, and business partnering, rather than operational accounting. You report to the Finance Manager/Senior Business Controller and work closely with the operations to provide decision support for both operational and strategic decisions. You collaborate with international finance teams in Madrid and India and are based at the office in Mölndal.

Your main responsibilities as a Business Controller:

• Act as a business partner through analysis, follow-up, and decision support
• Develop reports, dashboards, and analysis in Excel and Power BI
• Work with inventory controlling in an international structure
• Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Serve as a superuser for the financial functions of the economic system
• Project, profitability, sales, and cost analysis
• Foreign exchange hedging, internal control, and group reporting

Your profile

• Academic degree in Economics
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Controller
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach
• Very good knowledge of Excel and experience with Power BI
• Experience with inventory and industry-related controlling
• Good system understanding, interest in ERP and BI
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Experience from an international group is an advantage
