Kristianstads Riding Club was founded in 1946. We are a non-profit association with approximately 300 members. Our facility is located in Hammarslund, an oasis just a stone's throw from the city center with good bus connections and cycling paths. The facility houses the riding school's approximately 30 own horses and ponies, as well as about ten private stables. The riding school offers instruction for both beginners and competitive riders, and also has an established program for riders with disabilities.

The facility includes a 20 x 60 meter indoor arena, a 12 x 18 meter indoor arena, and two lit outdoor riding arenas. In the lush birch forest, you will find our 2 km long gallop track. We also have a jumping paddock with natural obstacles located a short distance from the stables.

We are now expanding our team and are looking for a new riding instructor.

We are looking for you who have a degree in equine studies (hippology), SRL II or higher, or equivalent knowledge and experience. To thrive with us, you should have excellent pedagogical and social skills, as well as a strong interest in development. Your focus will be on teaching students at various levels, and you enjoy working at a riding school. A focus on show jumping is an advantage. We also prefer that you have a B driver's license with extended privileges, or alternatively an BE license.

Our operations are constantly evolving, and you must enjoy working in a flexible organization where the content of the position may change over time. You are responsible and able to work independently, while also being a good team player who values teamwork. Naturally, you have a burning interest in horses and equestrian sports, and you put the student and the horse at the center of your work.

The position includes:

• Instruction for children and adults, from beginners to training groups.
• Breaking in and training of our horses.
• Stable duties.
• Some administration (Hippocrates, email, and phone contact with students/members).

Employment level: 70–100% as agreed. Working hours include days, evenings, and weekends according to schedule. A 6-month probationary period applies. Collective agreement exists (Fastighets). Start date is at the beginning of July/August or as agreed. Selection is ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
