The Finance & Insurance Unemployment Insurance Fund is now looking for a Fund Manager who, with responsibility, clarity, and good judgment, wants to lead and develop the operations forward.
About the Company
The Finance & Insurance Unemployment Insurance Fund is a member-governed organization with nine employees, offering security on the labor market through professional service, legally secure processing, and dedicated support to its members. They are now seeking a secure and clear leader with strong organizational skills who wants to drive the operations forward and meet future demands.
The organization's mission is to pay out benefits to members in the event of unemployment. Today, they have approximately 50,000 members and play a vital role in creating economic security within the finance and insurance industry.

Job Responsibilities
As Fund Manager, you have the overall responsibility for leading and developing the unemployment insurance fund's operations, with a focus on stability, regulatory compliance, and sound financial management. You ensure that the organization works towards set goals through clear planning, monitoring, and quality in operations.
You are responsible for the budget, reporting, and ensuring that accounting and fund management are conducted according to current regulations. Through ongoing dialogue and decision-making materials, you support the board in making well-founded decisions. In this role, you have personnel responsibility and actively work for a secure and efficient work environment, while driving development, competence supply, and quality within the organization. You also represent the unemployment insurance fund externally and serve as a support to internal functions such as IT, finance, and security.
Main Areas of Responsibility
- Overall responsibility for goals, operational planning, and monitoring
- Responsible for budget estimates, annual reports, and financial reporting
- Ensure that accounting and fund management comply with laws and regulations
- Ongoing reporting and preparation of decision-making materials for the board
- Personnel responsibility, including development and salary discussions
- Make decisions in personnel matters and ensure a good work environment
- Drive competence development, efficiency, and quality assurance of operations
- Represent the unemployment insurance fund in networks, conferences, and industry contexts
- Act as a sounding board for internal functions such as IT, finance, security, and insurance
Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities
- Experience in qualified leadership, preferably within regulated operations such as government agencies, insurance, or unemployment insurance funds
- Good understanding of management, economics, and regulations
- Experience in personnel responsibility and employer issues
- Knowledge of unemployment insurance and/or insurance systems
- Very good communication skills

About the Position
This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process takes place through Bravura and you are employed directly by the Finance & Insurance Unemployment Insurance Fund (FFA).
