Are you an experienced payroll consultant looking to combine qualified payroll work with accounting, client dialogue, advisory services, and digital development? We are looking for you with experience as a consultant at an agency, with strong competence in payroll management, employer issues, and client work. You have a deeper understanding of the entire payroll process and feel confident working independently with complex payroll flows and supporting clients with payroll and HR questions. The role may also involve working with economics and accounting as needed, so it is important that you feel confident working with ongoing accounting.

• Relevant education in payroll or equivalent competence acquired within the industry
• Experience from a payroll agency / accounting agency / economic agency
• Qualified independent experience of the entire payroll process, including more complex payrolls for employers covered by collective agreements
• Experience with payroll processes in different industries with different collective agreements
• Experience interpreting and applying laws and agreements
• Experience in accounting and good knowledge of its connection to payroll
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good system familiarity and understanding of digital flows
• Responsibility-taking

• Good ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships

• Authorization as a payroll consultant
• Experience with complex payroll processes in larger group companies with collective agreements
• Experience with advisory services within payroll, labor law, or other HR issues
• Experience with system implementations or system changes within payroll, including quality assurance of collective agreement adaptation in the payroll system.
• Experience with Fortnox Time & Payroll, Visma Lön 600, Flex HRM Time & Payroll, as well as Caspeco and Personalkollen
• Experience with payroll mapping & payroll audit work
• Experience with union collaboration & union negotiations

The tasks are varied according to the needs of the clients and Avanta, but we see that you primarily work with:

• Independent payroll work for several clients, including quality assurance of payroll processes
• Employer declarations, payroll reporting, and payroll accounting
• Advisory services to clients regarding payroll and employer issues / HR issues
• Mentorship and guidance of junior colleagues within payroll
• Collaboration with accounting consultants in joint client assignments
• Maintaining your client relationships with a focus on client experience, quality, and long-term value creation

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probation period. Start is planned for autumn 2026 or as agreed. We apply a continuous selection, so please do not wait with your application.

The work is primarily performed at one of our offices (Uppsala or Stockholm depending on your place of residence) but may also involve working on-site at the client.
