As a substitute, you will be employed through the Staffing Pool.

The Staffing Pool includes permanent nursery nurses and childcare workers, as well as hourly substitutes. We are continuously hiring new substitutes, and applications are accepted year-round. As an hourly substitute, you have a great chance of securing permanent employment after your substitute period. We offer you a varied, independent, and fun job.

A Day as a Substitute in Childcare

Substituting at a preschool or after-school center means replacing regular staff and performing most of their duties. Working with children involves activities such as outdoor play, group gatherings, dressing, and more. The preschool's activities consist of both care and learning. Teaching in preschool is based on children's play and interests. The regular staff holds the pedagogical responsibility, meaning that educators plan various activities and themes based on the curriculum's goal areas; these activities are then carried out by both childcare workers, substitutes, and educators.

As an hourly substitute in Krokom, you will be employed by the Staffing Pool. You will choose your area and workplaces in consultation with us at the pool, after which we will schedule you for an introduction. Once the introduction is completed and approved, you can be booked for jobs. More information about the introduction and the systems we use will be provided when we invite you to an interview.

• You must be at least 18 years old to be employed by the Staffing Pool.

Merits for the position

• Childcare education
• Class B driver's license
• Previous experience in childcare

Other Information

Hourly employment.

Fixed-term employment with the possibility of extension.
