ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Assistanslotsen are looking for 2 people who want to work as summer substitutes in personal assistance at approx. 50% between weeks 29-32 for our client in Lit, 2 miles outside of Östersund.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 08:00-18:00

Start date is by agreement, and we would appreciate it if you could start the introduction immediately.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 70s with a great interest in flowers, gardening, and walking.

Duties include:

  • Support with daily routines, such as household chores

  • Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

  • Assistance with mobility/transfers

  • Exercise and stretching

The client uses a wheelchair, electric wheelchair, shower chair, and walker. No heavy lifting is involved in this position.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Tolerance for pets (a cat lives in the home)

BENEFICIAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience as a personal assistant or in other care work

  • Driver's license and access to a car (an advantage as the client lives approx. 2 miles outside of Östersund)

Employment level: 2 positions at approx. 50%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

To be employed by us at Assistanslotsen, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the job. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and/or submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
