RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now offering a permanent position as a Social Secretary for Economic Assistance. As a Social Secretary for Economic Assistance, you will be part of a work group consisting of the unit manager, team leader, social secretaries, budget and debt counselors, and coordinators for contact persons/contact families, totaling 9 people with long experience and high competence.

The main responsibilities include investigating, assessing, and deciding on economic assistance according to the Social Services Act, as well as investigating the individual's resources and any obstacles to self-support. The work involves client-oriented work with a focus on motivation and change work. As a Social Secretary for Economic Assistance, you support, motivate, and guide the individual towards self-support. You do this together with the individual and in collaboration with other parties such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, healthcare, and internally within IFO and the municipality's various operations.

The Individual and Family Care authority is a workplace where we care for each other and our work environment. The work group in the adult unit is a group with good cooperation, great openness, and we have a high level of trust. We support and help each other in assessments and decisions. As a Social Secretary, in addition to regular case reviews with your team leader, you also receive continuous external supervision every month. QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a degree in Social Work (Social Work degree)
• Experience in case handling and documentation according to the Social Services Act (SoL) is preferred
• You have good skills in verbal and written expression
• Good ability to use digital systems
• Valid driver's license

Employment type: Permanent position.
