About the Role

ONE Nordic Hydro is a leading player in electrical and control equipment for hydropower. With a strong market position and several of the most exciting contracts in the industry, they are setting the standard for both technological development and sustainability.

As an electrical engineer, you will become an important part of contracting projects within electrical and control equipment. You will work on both large and small projects and contribute your expertise throughout the entire process – from tendering and design to testing, commissioning, and final documentation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for electrical, control, and regulation design in both large and small projects
• Support project managers with technical requirements during the tendering process
• Perform calculations and dimensioning
• Participate in testing and commissioning
• Ensure documentation is completed after projects are finished

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in electrical engineering, electrical technology, or equivalent
• Extensive experience in electrical design and instrumentation, preferably within hydropower or industry
• Advanced knowledge of CAD systems such as Elprocad and/or AutoCad with applications, e.g., Elmaster
• Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, as you will use these languages in both documentation and daily dialogue
• Hold a B driver's license as travel is required for the role

Merits

• Knowledge of high-, medium-, and low-voltage switchgear
• Experience with turbine and generator plants
• Knowledge of relay protection and DC systems

The position is security classified, meaning a security clearance will be conducted prior to employment. The security clearance includes a registry check and a security interview in accordance with the Security Protection Act.
