Are you a communicative person with previous experience of being the hub of the network within construction and real estate projects? Entrecon Consulting has several requests from our clients for senior and experienced project engineers/contracting engineers in construction and real estate.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and owners. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

In the role of a contracting engineer, you are a key person in the projects and contribute to ensuring that production runs smoothly together with the project manager, site manager, and support functions. You will work broadly and are responsible for production planning, project economics, and contract administration, among other things. You will also participate in procurement, attend construction meetings, maintain contact with the client's representative, and handle financial settlements with the client and subcontractors. As a contracting engineer, you participate in all phases of the client's construction or civil engineering project, from the planning stage until the project is technically completed. You negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers, manage tenders, prepare cost estimates, and are responsible for contract documentation. KMA (Construction Management Agreement) issues may also occur among the tasks.

Competence

We are looking for you who have at least three years of documented experience in a similar role with experience of:

• Forecasting work and estimation
• Project economics, schedules, work preparations
• Resource allocation, procurement, and ÄTA (Construction Contract Act)
• KMA (Construction Management Agreement)

You have a post-secondary education in construction or have acquired this knowledge through work experience.

We also expect you to have good knowledge of construction law and technical competence, negotiation skills, and be accustomed to working with profitability and business focus. Other competencies we value are your ability to build relationships and networks, as well as your ease of adapting to changing circumstances. We require a B driver's license and good IT skills.
