Do you have experience in construction management and a good understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting regularly receives requests from our clients for skilled and experienced construction managers.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and employers. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

As a construction manager, you will be involved in the various phases of the project, from planning and design to implementation and final handover to the client. The construction manager serves as the contact person for contractors and the client's representative during the contract period. This means that the construction manager is tasked with representing the client by supporting, monitoring, and reporting the progress of the contract to the project manager and/or the client regarding: schedules, costs, quality, safety, working environment, and environmental issues.

You will lead all phases of the production stage, prepare tender documentation, procure contractors, and be responsible for: construction meetings, quantity regulation meetings, financial meetings (ÄTA management), and coordination meetings.

Competence

We are looking for someone with the following experience:

• Good knowledge of the earthworks and civil engineering process and documented experience in planning & coordination, design management, cost monitoring, forecasting, KMA, procurement, and production.
• You should have worked as a construction manager/site manager/foreman in earthworks and civil engineering for at least 5 years, preferably more.
• Desirable experience with earthworks and civil engineering for industrial projects (track works, excavation/rock excavation, site casting, stormwater, sewerage, lighting).
• A big plus if you have experience with concrete, preferably concrete class 1, ideally class 2.
• You must have qualifications as a working environment coordinator, BAS-P, and BAS-U.
• You have good knowledge of contract and consulting law, AB04/ABT06, as well as AMA and MER civil engineering.
• You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or another construction technical education, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience.
