Do you have experience in construction management and a good understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting regularly receives requests from our clients for skilled and experienced construction managers.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and principals. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at our clients' sites.

The Assignment

As a construction manager, you will be involved in various stages of the project, from planning and design to execution and final handover to the client. The construction manager serves as the contact person for contractors and the client's representative during the contract period. This means that the construction manager's task is to represent the client by supporting, following up, and reporting on the progress of the contract to the project manager and/or client regarding: schedules, costs, quality, safety, occupational health and safety, and environmental issues.

You will lead all stages of the production phase, prepare tender documentation, procure contractors, and be responsible for: construction meetings, quantity surveying meetings, economic meetings (ÄTA management), and coordination meetings.

Competence

We are looking for you with the following experience:

• Good knowledge of the civil engineering and construction process and documented experience in planning, design management, cost monitoring, forecasting, KMA, procurement, and production.
• You should have worked as a construction manager/site manager within civil engineering (preferably with experience from water/sewage or track projects) for at least 5 years, but preferably more.
• Desirable experience working with or for the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) or other public actors.
• You must have qualifications as an occupational health and safety coordinator, BAS-P, and BAS-U.
• You have good knowledge of contract and consulting law, AB04/ABT06, as well as AMA and MER construction.
• A big plus if you have experience with concrete, preferably concrete class 1, ideally class 2. Experience from water/sewage projects is also desirable.
• You have a degree as a civil engineer or a master's degree in engineering, or another construction-related education, or have acquired equivalent knowledge through extensive work experience.
