Do you have experience in project management and a good understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting receives ongoing requests from our clients for skilled and experienced project managers.

We accept applications on an ongoing basis and match them with requests from our clients and owners. You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at our clients' sites.

The Assignment

Assignments may involve new construction or ROT (renovation) projects, residential or commercial buildings, primarily in Stockholm/Mälaren Valley. The role of project manager entails independently leading and taking responsibility for the current construction project, from the early concept phase to handover to management for new construction or to the client after a completed ROT project.

The project manager role thus implies overall responsibility for each construction project, where the project manager shall:

• lead the project's stakeholders
• negotiate land purchases
• drive detailed planning work
• tender consultants and contractors
• be responsible for design documentation
• be responsible for the execution of contracts
• prepare and verify production budgets
• follow up and report on the project

The project manager has explicit responsibility for results and acts as the client and developer representative at construction meetings, design meetings, development meetings, meetings with authorities, etc.

Competence

We are looking for a business-oriented, results-driven, and market-focused project manager with several years of professional experience in the real estate industry. We consider an academic degree, preferably with a focus on construction or equivalent, an advantage.

You have experience from the contractor side where you have worked on self-developed projects and understand the entire chain in both new and renovation projects, from concept and land purchase to handover. Experience with buying and selling processes regarding land and real estate is an advantage.

The role requires good knowledge in planning, design, and project management, including leadership and project control, cost monitoring, budgeting and forecasting, as well as production. Knowledge of construction law is highly meritorious.

We believe you are well-established in the industry with a developed network, are customer- and market-oriented with a strong drive. Furthermore, you are expected to be a distinct team player, proactive, with the ability to commercially execute and complete started projects. Being structured, responsible, analytical, and quick to prioritize are personal qualities we believe are important for success in this role.
