At Carla, we aim to set a new standard for buying cars. Our goal is to make buying or leasing a car online as easy and secure as purchasing anything else on the internet. Naturally, all our cars are electric. Founded in Stockholm in 2020, the company is now in an exciting growth phase and is therefore looking for a new Team Lead for our facility in Kungsängen.

About the Role

As a Team Lead, you will combine operational work in the workshop with team leadership and coaching of a technical team. You are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run efficiently, that the right tasks are assigned to the right resources, and that the quality of delivery maintains a high standard with short lead times and cost-effective repairs.

You are a secure, pedagogical, and coaching leader who is passionate about leading others and raising the technical competence of the team. You support technicians in troubleshooting and complex cases while developing, challenging, and coaching a group of mixed seniority to reach the next level.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and lead times are maintained

• Ensure that performed work is done professionally and in accordance with Carla's routines and guidelines

• Ensure an efficient and proactive workflow together with your team

• Resource allocation and daily work leadership/prioritization of cases

• Participate in improvement work related to operations

• Perform operational tasks

• Perform service

• Carry out repairs

• Advanced troubleshooting

• Support technicians with technical problems

• Point of contact for adjacent functions such as planning teams, test teams, and delivery teams

• Develop and coach technicians in the team

• Ensure the right competence and training within the team

• Onboard new team members and participate in recruitment

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as an automotive mechanic/technician

• Experience in troubleshooting and repairs

• Mechanical repair work

• Very good knowledge of electrical system troubleshooting

• Good knowledge of vehicle literature/repair methods

• Vehicle electronics

• High-voltage certificate is a requirement

• Valid B driver's license

Scope, Working Hours, and Location

• Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00, Kungsängen

• Full-time, 6-month probation period
