You will step into a strategic urban planning project where a larger organization is developing a new municipal overview plan. Here, you will become a qualified support in matters concerning water and wastewater supply, water resources, energy supply, climate adaptation, and other technical utility systems.

The role combines analysis, coordination, and advisory services in an environment where technical choices need to work both in practice and from a long-term planning perspective. You work closely with project management and contribute with background materials, positions, and recommendations that support decision-making in complex urban planning issues.

You will also have an important contact interface with operations, municipal companies, authorities, and external actors. This is an interesting opportunity for you who want to influence strategic choices in an assignment with clear public benefit and great significance for future urban development.

• You contribute with strategic expertise in water and wastewater supply, water issues, and technical utility systems.
• You support the project management for the overview plan through analysis, preparation, coordination, and creation of materials within technical infrastructure.
• You drive and deepen analyses related to, among other things, environmental quality standards for water, energy supply, and climate adaptation.
• You create decision-support materials, service writings, presentation materials, and text materials within your areas of responsibility.
• You participate in dialogues with internal operations, municipal companies, authorities, and external actors.
• You contribute to strategic positions, choices, and priorities related to long-term societal development.
• You provide expert support in procurement, steering, and quality assurance of complementary investigations within the field.
• You document meetings and workshops and summarize implemented measures and recommendations.

• You have documented experience in strategic water and wastewater planning or equivalent work within technical infrastructure.
• You have documented experience working in a politically governed organization.
• You have good experience in creating decision-support materials or equivalent materials for management and political bodies.
• You have good experience in strategic urban planning or physical planning.
• You have good experience with water issues and environmental quality standards for water.
• You have documented experience in process management, coordination, or project management in complex planning issues.
• You have documented experience in independently conducting analyses and investigations within technical infrastructure.
• You express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
