You will step into a strategic development and renovation project for a town hall in a politically governed operation with many stakeholders, several sub-projects, and high demands for anchoring. The assignment covers both physical alterations and extensions, new detailed planning, business adaptation, workplace development, evacuation, and preparations for upcoming construction.

You will have overall responsibility for leading the project through the planning and execution phases, building up and developing the project organization, and creating structure in a complex environment where time, cost, quality, function, working environment, and sustainability need to be kept together. This is a role for you who want to influence a socially important project with great complexity and clear strategic significance.

• You lead and coordinate the project's planning and execution phases with overall responsibility for goals, progress, and quality.
• You establish, develop, and lead the project organization throughout the project's lifecycle, including coordination of sub-project managers and external consultants.
• You drive the work with project plans, schedules, budget and forecast materials, as well as risk and opportunity analyses.
• You produce decision materials and status reports for the steering group and political bodies.
• You are responsible for coordination between operations, consultants, and other external stakeholders, creating anchoring in an environment with many perspectives.
• You drive issues related to detailed planning, business adaptation, workplace development, evacuation, and execution planning.
• You secure materials for procurement of consultants and contractors, as well as preparations for construction.
• You follow up on the project's documentation and deliverables according to established project models and in the project tool Antura.

• University or college education of at least 180 ECTS in construction, civil engineering, technology, architecture, real estate, or other education or experience considered equivalent.
• At least 15 years of experience in project management within real estate development projects.
• Experience of having been a lead project manager or equivalent in at least three executed projects over 200 million SEK.
• Experience of alterations or new construction of public buildings such as town halls, schools, hospitals, university buildings, or corresponding complex public operational premises.
• Experience of leading project organizations with several sub-project managers and external consultants.
• Experience of leading projects where business development and change management are an essential part.
• Experience of being the client in the detailed planning process.
• Managerial experience and some type of leadership training.

• Experience of projects in a politically governed organization.
• Experience of working yourself with business development and change management in connection with local development projects.
• Experience of evacuation projects.
• Experience of timber construction projects.
• Experience of procurement according to LOU (Swedish Public Procurement Act).
• Experience of renovating older buildings with cultural-historical values and remediation needs.
• Experience of projects in dense urban environments.
