About the RoleYou will step into complex infrastructure and urban development projects where strong financial control is crucial from early planning to execution. Here, you will manage the project economics in execution contracts, in close collaboration with designers, contractors, and key internal functions.
The role combines operational control with strategic influence. You are responsible for monitoring finances, analyzing outcomes, and creating clear decision-making materials, while also contributing to the development of working methods and ensuring guidelines are followed. You become a key partner to construction project managers and other leading roles in the projects. This is an opportunity for you if you want to take significant responsibility in socially important projects with many interfaces and clear impact.
Responsibilities- You follow up on estimates, budgets, and forecasts throughout the various stages of the projects.
- You lead financial meetings and coordinate internal issues related to project economics.
- You drive financial and contract follow-up for consultants, suppliers, and contractors.
- You review documentation and conduct spot checks against designers, contractors, and consultants.
- You are responsible for ongoing follow-up, analysis, and reporting in Antura.
- You lead and ensure project follow-up in close collaboration with design managers, construction project managers, construction managers, and group managers.
- You produce financial documentation for controlling documents and decision-making processes.
- You report forecasts, deviations, and change requirements to construction project managers and project leadership.
- You ensure that financial meetings and quantity adjustment meetings follow current procedures.
- You compile approved financial documentation for executives and ensure that further invoicing takes place according to current procedures.
- You identify potential for improvement and further develop procedures for financial follow-up.
- You participate in the final settlement of executives' costs and the contract.
- At least 12 years of documented experience as a Project Manager in Finance, or a comparable role, such as Contract Engineer/Project Engineer.
- Good knowledge of contract law (AB 04, ABT 06, AMA).
- Ability to lead meetings and communicate clearly in both speech and writing in Swedish.
- Experience working in projects with several parallel contracts.
- Academic education in construction technology, infrastructure, or equivalent.
- You can provide three reference assignments in larger infrastructure or urban development projects completed in the last 7 years where you had financial responsibility.
- Documented experience from renewal areas, also known as transformation areas, in a corresponding role.
- Experience from water and sewerage expansions in a corresponding role.
- Experience with collaborative contracts.
