We are currently seeking a Compliance Manager for the Department of Competence Supply and Case Handling. The department brings together the three operational areas of admissions, assessment, and international affairs. The goal is to develop the assignments so that they jointly contribute to national competence supply.

What you will do/be responsible for
As a Compliance Manager within Erasmus+, you will:
- Ensure and monitor compliance in program implementation and be responsible for contact with the European Commission on these issues.
- Convey, summarize, and explain complex information from the European Commission to colleagues and managers.
- Provide support on issues related to the European Commission's regulations and guidelines, as well as their interpretations.
- Develop methods and ways of working and establish procedures for case handling based on the European Commission's regulations and Swedish administrative practice.
- Together with the finance function, monitor the grant budget within the program.
- Compile, analyze, and prepare decision-making materials and materials for reports, e.g., annual reports to the European Commission.
- Proactively stay up to date with news from the European Commission and others that may affect our implementation.
- Systematically work with follow-up and processing of data at an aggregated level via databases and other IT tools.
- Conduct in-depth audits/reviews of projects and assist external auditors in their review of the operations.
- Maintain external contacts, both nationally and internationally, and be able to represent Erasmus+ and UHR.
Other tasks may also occur.
The ideal candidate
You have:
- An academic degree (or equivalent experience deemed equivalent by UHR)
- Current experience working at a national program office for Erasmus+ with case handling in the current program period
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- Good knowledge of regulations and governing documents in the current program period for both approved projects and national program offices for Erasmus+
- Very good knowledge of Excel and experience working with databases and handling figures

To function well in the role of Compliance Manager, you need to:
- Be meticulous and structured
- Have the ability to quickly grasp complex regulations and support case handlers and managers in their application
- Be self-driven with a strong drive and sense of responsibility
- Have very good collaboration and communication skills and be able to share knowledge in a pedagogical way
- Be solution-oriented and responsive to the needs of the organization
- Have an interest in EU-related issues and the European education sector
