Do you want to help shape the future of education in Bollnäs Municipality? We are currently seeking a passionate and engaged licensed teacher for the leisure-time center at Nyhamre School who wishes to lead the development of our primary schools. Here, you will have the opportunity to make a difference for the students and be an important part of an inspiring team.

The position is a permanent full-time role with a start date in January 2025.

Nyhamre School is a multicultural school for grades F–6 with approximately 400 students. The school is centrally located with easy access to forests and recreational facilities in Bollnäs. The staff is organized into various teams and units working together around the students. The premises are beautiful and modernly equipped. The outdoor environment is inviting for play, sports, and other creative activities.

Responsibilities

As a leisure-time center teacher with us, you will work at the school's leisure-time center and collaborate with the school's teachers during school hours. Based on the students' interests and needs as well as the curriculum, you will design a meaningful leisure time where you support the children in their development, both intellectually and socially.

With the right competence, there are great opportunities to be involved in developing the operations.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed leisure-time pedagogue or a licensed leisure-time center teacher with a license from the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket). You should have good knowledge of and experience with the leisure-time center curriculum and collaboration with the school. Special emphasis is placed on personal qualities, such as the ability to collaborate with students, guardians, and other adults, as well as being a good role model in general. Being positive and flexible is a prerequisite as you work with students both in school and at the leisure-time center.
