Lilla and Stora Sätraskolan are located near beautiful and inspiring outdoor environments. The schools have approximately 300 students in grades 3–5 and around 350 students in grades 6–9. Our craft rooms are located at Stora Sätraskolan. We are now looking for two engaged textile teachers for full-time positions: one for students in grades 3–5 (Lilla Sätraskolan) and one for students in grades 6–9 (Stora Sätraskolan), starting in the autumn term of 2026.

Together with your future colleague, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on planning, share ideas and pedagogical thoughts, and jointly manage purchases.

Job Responsibilities

As a teacher in textile crafts, you are responsible for teaching the subject and the pedagogical work in your student groups. You work based on the curriculum goals and current regulations, contributing to creating a safe, creative, and educational learning environment where student development is central.

The assignment includes planning, conducting, and following up on teaching, as well as adapting methods and content to students' different needs. Together with colleagues, you work towards a stimulating and varied school day.

Your responsibilities include:

• Teach textile crafts in grades 3-5 and/or 6-9.
• Be responsible for mapping, planning, implementation, and evaluation of teaching.
• Have class responsibility and work towards a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching based on students' individual prerequisites and needs.
• Challenge and support students in their knowledge development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create enjoyable and varied teaching.
• Cooperate with student health services, guardians, and external actors when necessary.

Qualifications

You have a natural talent for leading and motivating students and create an environment where they thrive. You create clarity and predictability to give every student the right conditions to develop according to their ability.

We are looking for you with:

• A teaching degree and teacher license with eligibility to teach in grades 3-5 and/or 6-9 in the subject of textile crafts.
• Knowledge of the curriculum for compulsory school.
• Good skills in using digital tools in teaching and planning.
• The ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

The final candidate must be able to present a criminal record check from the police for work within schools or preschools. This should not be attached to your application.
