About the position

Do you want to lead adventures this summer?

Are you 18–25 years old and want to be part of an engaged team carrying out Day Camp Adventure in Skärholmen for three weeks this summer? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

Together with Scouts' field consultant, you will train young people (16–19 years old) who will then become leaders for Scouts' day camp activities for children aged 8–12. After the training week, you will support the young people in leading two weeks of day camps.

The first week includes:

• Leadership training for young people, including modules such as Adaptive Leadership and Safe Meetings
• Practical outdoor activities such as fire lighting, cooking on camp stoves, wind protection, safety, and camp life

The assignment entails that you:

You run three weeks of day activities: 1 week of leadership training for young people and 2 weeks of day camps for children together with the youth leaders.

You instruct in practical moments such as games, outdoor techniques, fire lighting, wind protection, and cooking.

You lead group discussions and collaboration exercises.

You support the young people in planning and carrying out safe and inclusive activities according to Scouts' guidelines.

You handle practical tasks such as material preparations and cooking.

• Period: weeks 25–27 (June 15 – July 3, 2026)
• Extent: full-time, 3 weeks
• Salary: 125 SEK/hour
• Location: Skärholmen, Stockholm

About you

We are looking for you who:

• are between 18–25 years old
• are social and confident in meeting many different people
• like to inspire and have good pedagogical skills
• are attentive and confident in yourself
• have experience of leading groups
• preferably have had leadership assignments in voluntary work
• can work both independently and in a team
• are responsible and solution-focused

It is an advantage if you are a scout or a scout leader.

How we recruit

The position is a temporary employment during weeks 25-27 and covers 3 working weeks with an hourly wage of 125 SEK/h. The start date for the position is Monday, June 15, 2026, and it runs until Friday, July 3, 2026.
