The Department of Health and Social Care, with approximately 1,500 employees, is one of the departments in Mölndal Municipality and covers elderly care, disability support, and healthcare.
Havrekornsgatan 8 is a service residence with seven residents. The target group consists of individuals with intellectual disabilities. Havrekornsgatan is a well-functioning and safe workplace for both residents and staff. It is a job where you truly get to influence and enrich the daily lives of our residents. We are now looking for a new colleague for an awake night shift who wants to help create the best possible everyday life for our residents.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As a support assistant, you will support the resident in their daily life by creating a comprehensible, manageable, and meaningful existence, working preventively and in a structured manner. You provide professional support and strengthen each individual's self-esteem and belief in their own abilities – all work is based on the resident's individually established implementation plan.
You will be involved in establishing and/or maintaining social networks. Your role also involves supporting residents in developing their communication skills and sense of belonging, as well as providing support for social activities, both individually and in groups. The goal is to support full participation in society based on each person's individual wishes.
You will provide support in all daily tasks such as planning, personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, shopping, finances, medication, social training, culture, and leisure.
You belong to a work team with support assistants and support pedagogues. You will work with social documentation in the Treserva documentation system and continuously follow up on and revise implementation plans. We work with operationally adapted and flexible schedules. Needs are continuously adjusted according to the operation's requirements, but working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and sleeping on-call shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
- Has education as a support assistant, assistant nurse, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- Has experience working with people with intellectual disabilities and autism in special service housing.
- Has knowledge in low-affective approach, clarifying pedagogy, and AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
- Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing.
Experience working with Timecare and Treserva is an asset.
