ABOUT THE POSITION

Kura Omsorg is currently looking for someone to work as a personal assistant for our client in Skövde. We are seeking both candidates interested in working as an hourly substitute and those willing to work approximately 90% as a substitute. The 90% substitute position lasts for 6 months, with the possibility of extension. As an hourly substitute, you work as needed, for example, when regular staff are absent. You are expected to be able to work day and evening shifts on both weekdays and weekends.

The working hours are generally scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 - 16:00

• 16:00 - 22:00

• 09:00 - 22:00 on weekends

We prefer that you can start immediately and that you enjoy working closely with a person in their daily life. As a personal assistant, you will become an important part of creating security, structure, and quality of life for the client.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

Our client is a cheerful and social woman in her 60s living in Skövde. She has MS and needs support in her daily life, where you, as a personal assistant, will become an important part of her everyday routine. The work involves helping with tasks that make daily life run smoothly, while also being a safe and present support.

You will also accompany her to various activities, both inside and outside the home, contributing to creating a meaningful and content-rich life based on her wishes and needs.

We are looking for someone who is social, proactive, and attentive in interactions with others. You find it easy to make contact and bring positive energy, while being mindful of the client's needs and adapting your approach accordingly.

You are meticulous and take responsibility for your tasks, with a structured working method and an eye for detail. At the same time, you are initiative-taking and see what needs to be done in daily life without waiting for instructions.

Great importance is placed on personal suitability and chemistry. The client prefers female applicants.

REQUIREMENTS

• Not allergic to fur animals, as there is a cat in the home.

ADVANTAGEOUS

• Experience working as a personal assistant.

Employment Rate: Substitute position approx. 90% and hourly substitute as needed.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with collective agreements.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18 years of age, you are required to present an extract from the criminal register. From March 1, 2026, new regulations apply meaning that the register check will include both an extract from the criminal register and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Please note that processing times may vary, so orders should be made well in advance.
