Description

Summer substitute position on a monthly contract.

Operations

Håljutegatan GB, Järvstigen SB, Banjovägen GB, and Loftvägens GB are housing units with special services for individuals with significant difficulties managing their daily lives due to mental disabilities and some co-occurring conditions. The operations are staffed 24/7 with shifts covering day, evening, full-day, sleeping on-call, and awake night shifts.

Support includes assistance in the individual's home but may also include social interventions, for example, to break isolation. The interventions aim to enable the individual to live as independently as possible, with the goal of managing their own housing.

Residential Support works with individually designed support adapted to the user's needs, which may involve support measures in the individual's home or in the form of more outward-facing social contact. Interventions are carried out together with the user to increase their functional ability, contribute to increased independence, and enable the user to remain in their home.

Residential Support working hours are scheduled on weekdays: 07:00-15:00, 08:30-16:30, and 13:00-21:00. Weekends may occur during one of the vacation periods but are shared among staff Sat-Sun 08:00-20:00. To work with us in Residential Support, a Class B driver's license is required.

Tasks

Your tasks consist of supporting individuals in their daily lives according to the intentions of the social services, which means preserving, changing, and developing people's own resources.

Tasks include:

  • Providing individually adapted support based on users' needs.
  • Carrying out interventions of both supportive and compensatory nature.
  • Maintaining social documentation in accordance with applicable legislation.
  • Carrying out interventions on delegation from nurses and rehabilitation staff.
  • Performing and being responsible for joint operational tasks.
  • Working independently.

It is also important that you contribute to a good working climate for colleagues and a good home environment for the users.

Qualifications

  • Auxiliary Nurse (Undersköterska), alternatively ongoing education to become an Auxiliary Nurse or other education relevant to the field which the employer finds equivalent.
  • Experience working in social psychiatry.
  • Minimum age 21 years.
  • Valid Class B driver's license.

Merits

  • Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, co-occurring conditions, and the LSS Act (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments).

Other Information

  • Applicants deemed of interest for the position will be asked to take a language assessment test. A request to take a language test does not constitute a job offer, only that the candidate has progressed in the selection process.
  • Recruitment begins during the application period. Selection and interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
  • If called for an interview, you will be asked to bring an extract from the criminal register (type: verification of own information) in an unopened envelope.
  • We place great importance on personal suitability!
