The Department of Labour Market and Adult Education is responsible for the municipality's labour market measures, daily activities, adult education, and issues concerning higher education, such as vocational college education and other post-secondary studies. Our goal is to provide residents of Botkyrka with good opportunities to enter studies, work, and employment. We are 330 employees working to enable more citizens to achieve self-sufficiency.

The Position and Responsibilities

As the Operations Manager at Alhagen Daily Activities, your role is central to creating a meaningful and inclusive environment for our participants within the LSS framework. You will lead and organize the operations to ensure that every individual receives a stimulating daily occupation.

Your responsibilities include promoting cooperation and community between the units within Alhagen, as well as encouraging a salutogenic approach and low-arousal interaction to create a safe and positive environment for the participants.

You will continuously work to ensure the quality of methodology, documentation, and interaction within the operations, while promoting the participants' personal development and participation in society. Your presence at meetings and participation in methodological work are of utmost importance for continuous development. In addition, you will support the unit manager in the recruitment process and the introduction of new colleagues, acting as an accessible resource for the staff. By performing these tasks, you ensure a stimulating and inclusive environment where every participant is given the opportunity to grow and develop in the best possible way.

You who apply to us

To be eligible for this position, you must have a vocational college education (YH) or a university degree in social work. You also need experience in the LSS area, including handling individual needs, planning and conducting activities, and documenting participants' progress, which is of high importance.

Other requirements:

• Experience working in digital systems and documenting measures in a correct and structured manner.
• Experience working in MS 365 and using the tools as a natural part of your daily work.
• Experience working within LSS Daily Activities.

Merits if you have:

• Experience in low-arousal interaction and experience working from a salutogenic approach.
• Experience in visually clear pedagogy.
• Experience in mentoring employees in methodological work, mapping, and social documentation.
• Experience with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication).
• Class B driver's license.

As an Operations Manager, you are stable and create security in everyday life, both for participants and staff. In an operation where needs can change quickly, you maintain focus, prioritize, and provide support in a calm and clear manner. You are collaborative and work closely with both the staff group and the unit manager to drive methodological work, ensure documentation quality, and ensure that operations follow common working methods. By being present in forums for dialogue and method development, you contribute to consistency and continuity.

In this role, you need to be relationship-building, as you build trusting relationships with participants, employees, and collaborating units within Alhagen. Respectful interaction and clear communication enable you to create good conditions for participation and development. You are also solution-oriented and find practical ways forward when challenges arise, for example in situations concerning behavior, activity adaptations, or the development of individual goals. You use methodology and documentation as support to create structure and clarity in everyday life.
