Personal assistance is a service according to the LSS Act (Act on Support and Service for Certain Persons with Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to persons who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Every client is unique, and your tasks vary according to the client's needs. You safeguard the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is responsive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• Willing to work for a man in his 40s living in Handen

• Has experience working as a personal assistant

• Has good knowledge of Swedish

• Has experience with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)

• Has experience with PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

• Has experience with tracheostomy (trach)

• Has experience with cough assist machines

Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "as long as the assistance assignment lasts" with an employment rate of approximately 100%. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, and night.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement, and other compensation is made according to collective agreements.

Start date according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting an employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can show valid ID and any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
