About the Education Department and Sövestad School
The Education Department is responsible for preschool, compulsory school, leisure centers, upper secondary school, adult education, and child and student health services. Approximately 1,100 employees work together to create a safe and developing school and childcare environment.
Sövestad School is a Grade 1–6 school with approximately 160 students. It is part of the Väster school district, together with units in Svarte and Hedeskoga.

We are currently seeking a licensed leisure center teacher who wants to become part of Sövestad and the Väster area. You should be eager to roll up your sleeves and, together with colleagues, create a leisure center based on care, development, and learning. The goal is to stimulate students' learning and create a meaningful leisure experience.

Responsibilities
- Lead the daily work of the leisure center based on the curriculum and set goals.
- Plan, conduct, and evaluate teaching in the leisure center.
- Identify and address students' needs, interests, and experiences.
- Create, develop, and participate in daily practical tasks and routines at the leisure center.
Qualifications
We are looking for a licensed leisure center teacher. You have good knowledge of the school's governing documents and work based on them naturally. You take responsibility for your own learning, follow up on and reflect on your teaching, and have a solution-focused and enthusiastic approach.
You have experience working with students with NPF (neurodevelopmental disorders) and can lead the work to adapt and develop the learning environment. You express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Terms of Employment
- Salary form: Monthly salary.
- Employment type: Permanent employment.
- Working hours: Daytime.
