Backaskolan is currently seeking an engaged and skilled teacher in Art and Swedish as a Second Language who wishes to contribute to developing our students' expressive abilities, identity, and learning.
Backaskolan is a primary school located in the beautiful and green Sege Park. Here, the student's learning, creativity, and participation are at the center. We work in an inclusive environment where every student is given the opportunity to grow based on their own prerequisites. Our cultural profile permeates the teaching, providing ample space for aesthetic learning processes and interdisciplinary work. Backaskolan has a Reggio Emilia-inspired profile, meaning we actively work with participation, democracy, and aesthetic forms of expression. We strive for knowledge to run like a red thread across subject boundaries and for students to be included in a meaningful context. The school is an independent single-stream F-9 school with approximately 270 students. The school is run as a non-profit association with a board consisting of parents and educators.
