At Önnestad High School, we offer five specializations and a total of 10 vocational pathways within the Natural Resources program. Here, we study and teach natural resources in practice through specializations in forestry, animal care, nature tourism, horse keeping, and agriculture. The atmosphere between staff and students is personal, class sizes are small, and both the facilities and training grounds are of high quality. Since 2010, Hushållningssällskapet Skåne has been the owner of Önnestad High School, providing a stable and secure foundation for the operation.

We have just over 50 employees working in coordination for our 230 students. Önnestad High School is located 8 km northwest of Kristianstad.

We are now seeking a qualified high school teacher in Swedish in combination with subjects within the Natural Resources program, such as agriculture, animal care, or companion animals.

You are positive, flexible, and inspired by working in a team with both colleagues and students.

The position is a temporary contract from August 2026 until the summer of 2027.

Mentoring and other joint tasks are included. You will be part of a teaching team, planning, implementing, and following up on your work in close collaboration with your colleagues.
