Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a Primary School Teacher for the after-school program at Tingdamm School who wants to continue developing and driving our after-school program in the right direction together with engaged colleagues.

For us, it is important to plan, implement, and evaluate the educational work in the after-school program together with colleagues. We have many qualified leisure educators in our organization, which contributes to both collaboration and shared understanding. With us, we want to give students the opportunity to grow, be challenged, and succeed through a planned program based on their needs, interests, and experiences. By creating good relationships with our students, we lay the foundation for learning and create a meaningful leisure time for our students. You work to give students the opportunity to interact with peers through play, creativity, and movement.

You also work to develop each student's social, mathematical, and linguistic abilities based on their individual conditions. The position includes planning and teaching younger students in sports and music during school hours. Assessment of students in sports and music may be included. You also plan and work together with colleagues in our after-school program. Together, we at Tingdamm School want to create the best school for every student! A school focused on learning where students feel safe, involved, and above all, joyful!

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher in after-school programs. We prefer that you have the qualifications to teach sports and health as well as music. Previous experience in the profession is an advantage. You have a good insight and knowledge of the school's governing documents and apply these in your daily work. Furthermore, you have a good didactic and pedagogical ability that allows you to independently lead and organize your work to create a conducive study environment for our students throughout the day.

Your teaching is modern and based on evidence-based research, developing your work, and with good knowledge and experience, you work effectively with relevant digital tools. To fit as a primary school teacher in the after-school program with us, it is important that you show interest and understanding for others, collaborate in the group, and contribute to promoting team spirit. You recognize and reward others' contributions, listen and consult with others, support and care for others, show respect for the opinions and thoughts of other group members, and you communicate easily.

You should be a secure, present educator who feels a strong commitment to your work. You have a good ability to collaborate with your colleagues and create good contact with guardians.
