We work in newly renovated premises and provide education in seven vocational programs as well as introductory programs at the upper secondary school level. We are now offering a position as a teacher in Social Studies for the introductory programs.

At Jacobsskolan, we work trust-based with the student and their learning in focus. Together, you will work towards the students' achievement of goals and to develop the teaching.

Here, you have the opportunity to be part of developing the school's operations through our systematic quality work. Together with your program team, you will work on the school's prioritized areas in the curriculum.

You are good at collaborating and are expected to actively participate in the program team and have close cooperation with the school's other professionals, such as student health. You enjoy working in multicultural environments and are inspired by new knowledge and experiences. We expect you to have good IT skills.

In the role of teacher, you take responsibility for planning, implementation, and evaluation of your teaching, anchored in the school's governing documents.

About Us

The Department of Children and Education is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together for a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and can be their best. The department's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations and work for coordination between school and working life.

Jacobsskolan offers the following programs: Child and Recreation Program, Construction and Civil Engineering Program, Electrical and Energy Program, Vehicle and Transport Program, Industrial Technology Program, Restaurant and Food Program, Health and Care Program, as well as all introductory programs. The school has a good collaboration with the labor market through constructive program councils. We are also engaged in Teknikcollege, Motor Industry College, and Health and Care College.
