As a support assistant within LSS, you work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities in their daily lives. The goal is to strengthen the individual's independence, participation, and quality of life based on their own conditions and needs.

The role includes:

• Supporting users in everyday activities such as personal care, household chores, and leisure activities

• Working according to implementation plans and contributing to their adherence and development

• Creating structure, security, and motivating support in the individual's daily life

• Collaborating with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals

• Documenting according to applicable legislation and guidelines

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, responsible, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You are flexible, attentive, and have the ability to adapt your work approach to the individual's needs.

Lundagården is located in Bredaryd, twenty kilometers west of Värnamo. We offer a qualified care and accommodation option for adults with mental disabilities. Lundagården consists of 19 places in LSS accommodation distributed across three well-functioning units. Lunden 1 – five places, Lunden 2 – seven places, and Smeden – five places. In addition, the operation has two apartments in the community. In our common rooms, we meet, socialize, and carry out various activities. Everything from a coffee break for two to joint house activities. According to the residents' wishes, we arrange music quizzes, play board games, and sing sing-alongs. When we want to go on excursions or make purchases, we use our own minibus. This bus gives us the freedom to explore the surroundings easily.

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We prefer that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. Additionally, you should easily collaborate with others and have the ability to be flexible and attentive when needed.

• We prefer that you have education or ongoing education in healthcare and social services.

• Previous experience working with LSS and care experience is highly meritorious.

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.

• We prefer that you have good physical ability.

• We prefer that you have a B driver's license.

Employment type: Summer temporary position

Extent: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: June, July, and August 2025

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
