Your Mission

As a technical business developer in the area of Russian military activities, you belong to the Signals Intelligence Department. The department works to collect, process, and analyze material to report unique and requested intelligence to our clients.

In the role of technical business developer, you will support the office manager regarding technical issues, but you will also be responsible for driving the office's need for technical development. The role is multifaceted, and as a business developer in technology, you have a central role between the intelligence-producing operations and the functions within the agency responsible for technical development. The work is done in close collaboration with both the office's users and representatives from developers in other parts of the agency. Your focus is to understand the needs and requirements of the operations and assist the technical operations in translating that into technical solutions and long-term planning.

You will have many internal contacts within the agency, but also external contacts with, for example, clients. The nature of the position involves domestic travel.

You Can

We are looking for someone who has:

• A university degree in areas such as technology, political science, law, military science, economics, or another relevant field and/or acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience
• Experience in leading people in projects or assignments
• Good ability to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English

We consider it an advantage if you have:

• Work experience in technology-related issues
• Education in project management or other equivalent training
• Knowledge and/or experience of the SAFe framework
• Experience from intelligence operations
• Experience from the defense sector
• Good technical grounding and insight into relevant technical areas

The workplace is located near Drottningholm, about 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is a successful security screening with a background check. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act.
