Academic Resource is looking for you to work for our client, a well-known property management company in the western suburbs.

The position is full-time with a start date as soon as possible.

Location: Western suburbs.

About the role

As an accountant, you will be responsible for the ongoing accounting and financial follow-up of the company's property portfolio. You will work closely with property managers, the CFO, and external parties to ensure accurate reporting and good financial control.

Main responsibilities

• Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations

• VAT and tax reporting (including property VAT)

• Accruals and year-end closing work (monthly, quarterly, annually)

• Preparation of annual reports and year-end financial statements

• Contact with auditors, banks, and authorities

• Support for property managers in financial matters

Qualifications (requirements)

• Post-secondary education in finance/accounting

• At least 2–3 years of experience in qualified accounting work in the real estate industry

• Experience with year-end closing work

• Good knowledge of Swedish accounting standards (K2/K3)

• Good system proficiency (preferably Fenix, Fortnox, Visma, Unit4, or similar)

• Good knowledge of Excel

Meritorious

• Experience from real estate companies or property management

• Knowledge of rental accounting and property-specific issues

Responsibilities and authorities

• Responsible for accurate accounting within the assigned property portfolio

• Ensure that deadlines for reporting and year-end closing are met

• Contribute to the development and streamlining of financial processes
