About the job

We are now looking for a senior analyst for the analysis unit. The unit consists of analysts, economists, and environmental monitors. As an analyst, you will work on assignments of varying difficulty where you independently choose and apply methods appropriate to the nature of the assignment. More specifically, you will:

  • Work on producing decision support, writing government assignment reports, and drafting consultation responses.
  • Be responsible for the authority's follow-up of state authorities, municipalities, and regions' work with digitalization.
  • Drive the follow-up of the government's digitalization strategy and AI strategy. The follow-up aims to assist the government with information on what is being done well today, what needs to be developed, and what obstacles exist for the continued digitalization of society.
  • Assist in Digg's other analysis work, for example, by supporting government assignments with thematic focuses, supporting international follow-up assignments, participating in collaborations with academia and others, and conducting analyses of the administrative services that Digg develops and manages.

About you

In the role of analyst, you are required to perform both numerical and linguistic analyses with ease. You are confident, stable, and self-aware. You think strategically and have a broad perspective on issues. You have a holistic view and see the long-term significance and further consequences of matters, adapting your actions accordingly. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities during recruitment.

Experience and skills - requirements

  • Experience leading projects in analysis and follow-up of public administration digitalization at the national level in the last 3 years
  • At least 10 years of experience working in Swedish public administration
  • Experience developing follow-up models in the digitalization area
  • Proficiency in writing reports and presentations
  • Experience in workshop leadership/facilitation

Education

You have an academic education with at least 180 higher education credits (bachelor's level) in social sciences or in another area that we as an employer assess as equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience in doctoral education or a PhD.

About Digg

Digg is an authority that works broadly to support and coordinate the digitalization of the Swedish public administration. We develop digital infrastructure and services that assist other public actors in their digitalization. We also ensure that digital public services are accessible to everyone.

Merger of Digg and PTS

The government has decided to assign Digg and the Swedish Post and Telecom Authority (PTS) to prepare for a merger. The new organization is to be in place by January 1, 2027. The purpose is to create a strengthened authority for digitalization issues, for example, in areas such as secure and accessible digital infrastructure, data, and AI.
