The County Administrative Board is looking for lawyers in anti-money laundering
The County Administrative Board's legal department is seeking 1-2 lawyers specializing in anti-money laundering, based in the unit for corporate and security supervision.

What does the role entail?
As a lawyer in anti-money laundering, you will work in the legal department, placed in the unit for corporate and security supervision. You will be part of the anti-money laundering group and play a crucial role in the County Administrative Board's supervision according to the Anti-Money Laundering Act, aimed at combating money laundering and financing of terrorism.
You will be responsible for investigating and handling supervisory cases and contribute to ensuring that operators take adequate measures to protect their businesses. The work is conducted both independently and in close collaboration with other lawyers and case handlers in the unit, as well as in cooperation with other authorities.
The main tasks include:
- Reviewing compliance of operators with regulations. You need to be able to analyze large amounts of information and have the ability to identify what is relevant for the authority's assessment. This places high demands on your ability to work independently.
- Handling appeals of the County Administrative Board's decisions, which includes written correspondence and, if applicable, oral hearings in court.
- Representing the County Administrative Board in contact with other authorities and operators. For example, participating as the County Administrative Board's representative in cooperation with other national and international authorities and being responsible for and conducting information efforts.

As a lawyer in the unit, you share a common responsibility for achieving the unit's objectives, so you may also have tasks within the unit's/department's other areas of responsibility.
Are you the one we are looking for?
For this role, we want you to have:
- a law degree, 270 higher education credits
- current experience of at least one year of independent qualified legal work in an administrative authority, municipality, court, including decision writing
- experience working with digital case management systems
- good ability to express yourself clearly and pedagogically in speech and writing
- ease in building good relationships and collaborating
- good ability to take initiative and act where needed
- willingness and ability to contribute to a good working environment
You should be unpretentious and helpful, structured, and accustomed to working with many cases simultaneously and able to prioritize among them.
It is advantageous if you:
- are notarized
- have worked with issues within the anti-money laundering area
- have experience in supervision
- have experience working in contexts where English is the working language

Employment
Employment type: Permanent. We would like you to start as soon as possible or by agreement. We apply probationary employment as a general rule.
Security Clearance
The position is classified in a security class. We will conduct a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). As a permanent employee at the County Administrative Board in Stockholm County, you will be assigned based on the needs of total defense.

The unit for corporate and security supervision is part of the legal department, which has over 100 employees. The department also includes units for records and archives, municipal and foundation supervision, administration, legal operational support, and appeals.
We work in centrally located offices in Stockholm, and there is an opportunity to work partially remotely.
