Department J5 Central Military Region (MR M)

You will belong to the defense planning department J5 at MR M, which is now growing and looking for more employees. The J5 department is responsible for, among other things, pre-defense planning, total defense coordination, mobilization, and physical planning within MR M.

Main Responsibilities

As a total defense coordinator, you will support the Chief J5 in the development, implementation, and administration of MR M's comprehensive planning framework regarding operational total defense planning.

You will assist in leading and coordinating MR M's total defense planning primarily concerning:

• Developing, implementing, and administering MR M's support plan Melissa in close collaboration with civil area offices and county administrative boards
• Coordinating MR M's total defense planning in cooperation with civil defense and civil actors
• Internally coordinating MR M's total defense development with physical planning and infrastructure processes
• Supporting the revision and administration of MR M's order framework in the areas concerning planning (e.g., OPLAN Melker and SOFO reg)
• Working in various IT systems of the Armed Forces, such as FMAP, FMAP K, FMAP H, SWECCIS, ISUS, SitaWare HQ.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Relevant academic higher education with a master's degree in political science, urban planning, or equivalent studies in community building or political science as assessed by the employer
• Experience of working in staff service at a coordinating level or equivalent level
• Experience in process management
• Good computer skills with strong knowledge of the Office suite
• Driver's license, at least class B

• Experience of civil-military cooperation within total defense
• Approved training in ISUS, SWECCIS, FMAP-H, SitaWareHQ
• Combatant training or other basic military training

Employment type: Permanent employment, a six-month probationary period applies if you are not currently working in the Armed Forces. The position is civilian, which means that no military training is required.
Work location: Kungsängen (travel within Sweden may occur as part of the job).
Employment rate: Full-time.
