Financial Analyst for Leading Global Pharmaceutical Company

SJR is now recruiting a Financial Analyst for our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company with offices in Solna & Uppsala. This is a consulting assignment starting May 4th for 12 months with a chance of extension. The role is based 80% onsite at our client's finance department in Uppsala and 20% remote.

About the Role

As a Financial Analyst, you will be an important part of the finance function with a focus on manufacturing, supply chain, and cost analysis. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and contribute to the analysis of manufacturing variances, reporting, forecasting, and month-end closing. The role also involves identifying and driving improvements in processes and ways of working, as well as providing support in various projects and initiatives within Supply Chain Finance.

Responsibilities

• Analyze functional costs, manufacturing variances, and reporting
• Participate in financial closing activities (month-end closing)
• Support capitalization of assets
• Work with volume forecasting
• Assist in the month-end closing process
• Participate in ad hoc projects, improvement initiatives, and other assignments within SC Finance

Suitable Background

You have an academic degree in economics, industrial economics, finance, or engineering, along with 2-5 years of experience in qualified financial work. You have good experience in financial analysis, month-end closing, and excellent skills in Excel. Experience with Power BI and larger ERP systems, especially SAP, is highly meritorious. Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or cost accounting is also an advantage.
