Unit Manager for Communication and Collaboration

Responsibilities and Tasks

As the unit manager for our new unit for communication and collaboration, you will have a clear mandate and a central role in strengthening the authority's communication and relationships.

The purpose of the new unit is to consolidate – both in how we communicate our mission and results, and in how we build long-term and trusting relationships with our partners. The role is placed within the newly established department for management and development governance. The department also includes the security unit, development governance unit, and management staff.

You will be responsible for leading and developing the authority's internal and external communication, strengthening the authority's external communicative presence and dissemination of the organization's results, developing strategic collaboration efforts, and deepening relationships with prioritized authorities and other stakeholders. You will have operational and personnel responsibility within the framework of the unit's mission.

We are looking for someone who has

• Relevant academic degree in communication, political science, or social sciences.
• Several years of experience in a leadership role within communication.
• Experience with cross-authority collaboration in the state.
• Experience working with governmental governance and decision-making processes.
• Excellent ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.

It is advantageous if you also have

• Experience in building new functions or organizations.
• Experience working against incorrect payments.
• Experience working in or close to government leadership.

Other

The place of employment is in Stockholm. The authority is located in modern premises near Gullmarsplan. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a six-month probationary period. Security clearance may be required. You may be placed in a war position at the authority. Psychological tests will be relevant during the recruitment process.
