Welcome to Bureskolan! We currently have just over 130 students from preschool to grade 6.

The school is located close to nature and has a wonderful schoolyard. The school is part of the Sydvästen school area along with Klockargårdskolan in Broaryd.

You will be part of our team where we collectively take responsibility for leading and developing the educational work towards the goals for our wonderful middle school students.

You will use modern technology in your work with students, as we in Gislaveds municipality have tablets as a natural part of the educational process.

Responsibilities

The main responsibility consists of teaching students in grades 4, 5, and 6. You will be a mentor for certain students, and there will be some additional assignments at the school.

You will be the bridge between the school and home, working intentionally to build relationships that create safety and trust.

The position will be tailored to the needs of the school and students as well as your qualifications, interests, and experience.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed primary school teacher for students in grades 4-6. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of and experience working with students with special needs (NPF). You see all students and their differences as an asset and have a good ability to develop sustainable relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are flexible and solution-focused and thrive in a collegial learning environment.

We are looking for someone who is proactive in promoting, preventing, and addressing issues related to students' learning and well-being.

Your role as an employee is closely linked to your ability to collaborate and participate in your own and the organization's development. For us, this means that you have a good collaboration with your manager and colleagues, both in your own workplace and in other collaborative forums. You treat everyone with respect and kindness and take responsibility for being involved in organizational matters.

A teaching license is required for a permanent position.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment period. The position will be filled if necessary decisions are made.
