Your new job

You will be responsible for teaching our middle school students. This involves both independent and collaborative work to plan, implement, and document students' learning. Together with the work team and your teaching colleagues, you will have the opportunity to develop teaching through continuous collegial learning. Your role also includes building trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Through your engagement, you contribute to a safe and pleasant school environment that promotes learning and development throughout the students' school day.

The position primarily involves teaching mathematics and science at the middle school level. You will also be a mentor for a class.

The Hammardalen school area is located in Norrahammar and consists of two primary schools for grades F–6: Slättenskolan and Brodalsskolan. Both schools have associated after-school care. Your qualifications

We are looking for a licensed teacher with a degree for teaching at the middle school level, with a focus on mathematics and science for grades 4–6.

It is important that you have the ability to build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. You are solution-focused, collaborative, and confident in the teaching role. You are also a good role model and actively contribute to the pedagogical work by being innovative, driven, and well-grounded in the primary school's mission and governing documents. You have the ability to see students' different needs, consider their individual circumstances, and help them grow and develop. Basic IT competence is a requirement.

Experience in conducting national tests and grading in grade 6, as well as a license in mathematics, is an advantage.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and good collaboration skills.
