At Bredaryd School, about 180 students are enrolled in grades F-6. The school is located in the western part of Värnamo municipality. With good communication and smooth commuting options, it is easy to reach both Värnamo, Smålandsstenar, and Gislaved.
Responsibilities
Bredaryd School is looking for a teacher in the subject of handicrafts.
Depending on your education and certification, there is an opportunity to teach only textile or wood & metal. In that case, the position constitutes about 40%. In a full-time position, the assignment also includes being a class teacher and teaching in grade 6.
You will work closely with students to support their individual needs and goals. In your role as a class teacher, you will be responsible for creating an inspiring learning environment where each student is given the opportunity to grow and develop both academically and socially. Collaboration with the team, student health team, and school management is an important part of the assignment. The assignment also includes 40% textile handicrafts for grades 3-6.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a certified teacher with subject competence in handicrafts for the earlier years of primary school
- Has a clear student focus and believes in every child's ability to develop
- Sees collaboration as a natural part of the assignment
- Is structured, engaged, and relationship-building
Conditions
We work with ongoing selection and interviews. The position will be filled provided that the necessary decisions are made.
