At Bredaryd School, about 180 students are enrolled in grades F-6. The school is located in the western part of Värnamo municipality. With good communication and convenient commuting options, it is easy to reach both Värnamo, Smålandsstenar, and Gislaved.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a dedicated educator for the after-school program. Bredaryd School operates from a holistic perspective where school and after-school care are important parts that together contribute to students' development. In the afternoon, you will work together in teams at one of our after-school programs. You will plan, implement, evaluate, and develop our after-school activities based on applicable regulations and goals. You contribute to a pleasant environment and create safe learning environments for the students.

During the school day, you collaborate with the teacher in primary school by being a resource in the classroom and supporting one or more students, as well as supervising breaks to create safe and meaningful recesses.

You have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and enjoy collaborating with colleagues. You are expected to have good communication with students, guardians, and other stakeholders within the school. Subject qualifications in crafts or music are advantageous.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is:

• A certified teacher with qualifications for teaching in after-school programs
• Has a clear student focus and believes in every child's ability to develop
• Sees collaboration as a natural part of the role
• Is structured, engaged, and relationship-building

Conditions

We work with ongoing selection and interviews. The position will be filled provided that necessary decisions are made.
