Throughout the school year, we continue the professional development for staff regarding differentiated and explicit teaching. Through quality work, we strive to enhance students' reading comprehension, language development approaches, and create a safe and focused learning environment.

Horda School has about 90 students, and in the school area, there is also Rydaholms School, which has about 180 students. Both schools are primary schools with students from preschool class up to grade 6.

Responsibilities

We are looking for you who are a qualified early years teacher, and you will work as a class teacher in the early school years in a B-form. You will be responsible for and plan the teaching for the students, participate in parent contacts, collaborate with other teachers at the school, and as a class teacher, you will conduct development discussions. You will also participate in subject networks and professional development.

Qualifications

Teaching certification for the relevant stage. Experience in teaching or other experience in work/practice within the school is an advantage, even if you are qualified in several subjects. You should have a good understanding of the school's mission and governing documents. You have well-regarded leadership qualities. We place high demands on knowledge of extra adaptations and documentation in working with students.

We prefer that all our teachers are qualified in the subjects Swedish and Swedish as a second language and have documented good knowledge in reading and writing acquisition. Knowledge in early mathematics learning is an advantage. Furthermore, you as an applicant should have good IT skills and be accustomed to using digital tools in daily work.

Personal suitability is crucial for the appointment of the position.
