We are looking for someone to join Gällaryds School who is driven by challenge, joy, and good collaboration.

The school, which is a F-6 school, is located in a scenic area, close to pasture, waterways, and forests. The schoolyard, which is partially a natural area, invites outdoor activities and play. It is large and varied, with a football field, bandy field, play castle, sandbox, and swings. In winter, we have the opportunity to create an ice rink. The surrounding area offers creative environments, and through regular outdoor activities, children learn to appreciate being in nature. The goal is to learn to take care of nature and take responsibility for our environment.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include teaching at the middle school level. Broad qualifications are advantageous and allow for working with different subject combinations. Together with your colleagues, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in accordance with Lgr22 and other governing documents. You are also responsible for collaborating with colleagues, students, and guardians to create a safe and developing environment for the students.

Qualifications

We are looking for a teacher who wants to work together and contribute to our team spirit. You strive to create a meaningful and inspiring learning situation with a focus on ensuring that all students can succeed based on their circumstances. We value clear and positive leadership as well as the ability to adopt a flexible approach for the benefit of the students. For us, the ability to build good relationships combined with solid subject knowledge is our success factor.

You are a licensed teacher for grades 4-6. Experience with children and youth in educational settings is an advantage. Great importance is placed on personal qualities and the ability to meet students and build good relationships. We would like you to attach a personal letter and CV.

Conditions

We work with ongoing selection and interviews. The position will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
