Welcome to apply for the position of woodworking teacher at Bors School.

Bors School is a pleasant grades 7-9 school with around 200 students, just outside Värnamo. The school's indoor and outdoor environment underwent extensive renovation in 2019 and now offers bright, flexible, and inviting classrooms and workspaces. The school works, among other things, with set goals regarding the learning environment, attendance, and study peace.

Responsibilities

The position involves teaching students in woodworking at Bors School as well as students at nearby grades F-6 schools. You will also have some teaching in the school's resource unit. In your work, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating, and improving our operations. At the school, you will be part of both work teams and subject teams. In the work teams, we have close collaboration and good support for each other. The position also includes being a mentor for a class.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a qualified/certified teacher in woodworking and metalwork. The position requires commitment, responsibility, and the ability to plan. It is important that you, as a person, are clear, attentive, and show respect for the students' needs. You recognize the value of building good relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You have good experience with digital technology and have high standards for making teaching accessible to everyone.
