Description

Rörstorpsskolan is a multicultural school located in the central parts of Värnamo, with approximately 320 students from preschool to grade 3.

At Rörstorpsskolan, we are a united team working together to help our students reach their full potential. We believe that safety and a conducive learning environment lead to better academic results, which is why these are essential parts of our daily work. We continuously monitor our students' results, analyze them, and develop our teaching to meet the students' needs.

Job Responsibilities

You will be offered a position as a primary school teacher for after-school care at one of our after-school programs for students in grades 2-3. You will be part of a team of teachers, leisure educators, and resource educators. Collaboration and cooperation with other educators at the school is a given, and you will also take responsibility for the safety of all our students.

You will be responsible for music education for grades 1-3, which includes planning, documenting, following up, and developing students' knowledge in the subject of music. You will play a leading role in our school graduations and plan/follow up on these together with our activities group.

In your profile, you are attentive to our students' needs and adapt your teaching to meet them; we work on language development in all our subjects, including music. The most important thing is that you always work for the students and their best interests. You greet them with a smile in the morning, even on rainy days. You are, like us, convinced that together is a key to success.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license with a focus on after-school care and is qualified in the subject of music. You should be able to collaborate easily and create motivation based on each student's unique circumstances.

Conditions

Selection and interviews will take place continuously. The positions will be filled subject to the necessary decisions being made.
